This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR Part 13.5 for Certain Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2024-05 (eff.05/22/2024), VAAM Alert 24-10 (eff. 04/09/2024), and Acquisition Policy Flash 24-04 (eff. 01/01/2024). Contractor is required to be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). The MEDVAMC at 2002 Holcombe Blvd, Houston, Texas 77030 will hold a Specialized Medical Bed Rental Fair on September 6, 2024, from 9:00am thru 2:00pm (CT) at Building (BLDG) 100, Auditorium Room Number 4A-300. Vendors will use loading dock number five (5) located in the warehouse/basement area at MEDVAMC BLDG. 100. It is best for vendors to come in Entrance #70 off Old Spanish Trail (OST) to enter loading docks area, map in Section D of RFQ provided. Vendors shall identify themselves to the warehouse staff who will gladly point the way to elevators for Auditorium Room Number 4A-300.
