Q--Hemodialysis Services

The Department of Veterans Affairs Sacramento Medical Center at Mather plans to issue a Request for Proposal to obtain hemodialysis services. The contractor shall provide hemodialysis, dialysis and other services as follows: emergency/acute hemodialysis treatments performed at the VA ICU, chronic hemodialysis at the VA for inpatients, continuous veno-venous hemodialysis for inpatients, and extended daily dialysis for inpatients. It is the intent of this contract that the majority of services will be provided at the VA utilizing Contractor-owned and maintained equipment. The contractor will provide staff to perform this coverage seven days a week, 24 hours per day including holidays. NAICS code 621492 applies with a size standard of $31.5M. This solicitation will be an unrestricted acquisition. The contract will be an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity type contract and is expected to include a one-year basic period, with four one-year options. The solicitation number for this RFP is VA-261-08-RP-0257. The Solicitation will be issued o/a July 09, 2008, with an anticipated proposal due date of July 30, 2008.
