Fire Protection Services

The Department of the Army, through the Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC-FDO) at Fort Hood, is soliciting fire protection services to support the Directorate of Public Works. Under solicitation W9115122R0002, the contractor will perform all inspections, testing, maintenance, repair work, and service calls for fire protection and mass notification systems located throughout the Fort Hood Military Reservation in Texas. This requirement includes annual fire alarm inspections, fire suppression system testing, and various service call repairs to ensure facilities remain in compliance with United Facilities Criteria (UFC).

This procurement is designated as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSBC) set-aside. The primary classification for this effort is NAICS 561621, Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths), with a secondary PSC classification of J012 for the maintenance, repair, and rebuilding of fire control equipment. Work is primarily focused on a range of fire protection infrastructure, including dry sprinkler, preaction, foam, and deluge systems, as well as fire pumps.
