Notice of Intent for sole source procurement of maintenance, development, updates, and support of existing USGS seismological networks software packages. The US Geological Survey (USGS) Earthquake Hazard Team Menlo Park, CA, requires continued support in the maintenance, development, updates, and support of existing software packages used to monitor the USGS Advanced National Seismic System (ANSS) to improve the Nations ability to respond effectively to damaging earthquakes, volcanoes, and tsunamis. To that effect, the USGS intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Instrumental Software Technologies, Inc. of New Paltz, NY. Concerns responding to this pre-solicitation must furnish concise responses directly to the requirements mentioned above and are invited to submit capability statements no later than the closing date of the announcement. Responses must include complete description of services to be provided and contain sufficient technical information to allow agency analysis to establish bona fide capabilities.
