DUPLEX STRAINER

The U.S. Coast Guard, SFLC Procurement Branch 3(00040), issued this combined synopsis/solicitation under solicitation number 70Z04026Q60536Y00 for the acquisition of one duplex strainer. This requirement is classified under NAICS 423720 Plumbing and Heating Equipment and Supplies (Hydronics) Merchant Wholesalers and PSC 4730 HOSE, PIPE, TUBE, LUBRICATION, AND RAILING FITTINGS. The agency intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to Jobe & Company for the procurement of a 72-48F-EQUIV model strainer.

The determination to award as a sole source is made in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, as only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency’s requirements.
