NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

The U.S. Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command – Fort Knox (MICC-Ft Knox) issued this pre-solicitation notice for an EM Cluster Technology Upgrade at the U.S. Army Garrison Fort Knox. This requirement, identified under solicitation number W9124D26QA176, is classified under NAICS code 561621 Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths) and PSC 3590 Miscellaneous Service and Trade Equipment. The agency intends to award the contract on a sole source basis to Monaco Enterprises Incorporated (MEI) under the set-aside status of Other Than Full and Open Competition.

The contractor is required to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to perform the technology upgrade. Competition is restricted because Monaco Enterprises Incorporated is the sole proprietary manufacturer of the D-21 system hardware and software.
