The Washington Air National Guard, under the Department of the Army USPFO Activity WAANG 141, is conducting market research to identify potential sources for a renovation project at Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington. The scope of work involves converting existing fire suppression systems in hangars H1029, H1033, and H1037 to automatic water-only, single-interlock preaction sprinkler systems. Additionally, the contractor must demolish Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) systems and foam monitors and dispose of all AFFF materials.
