270' SERVICE LIFE EXTENSION PROGRAM (SLEP) ELECTRICAL POWER GENERATION SYSTEM

The purpose of this amendment is as follows: 1. To post the attached Questions and Answers from the site visit on October 17, 2019 in Norfolk, VA. 2. Attachment C-1, Technical Specification: Replace paragraph 1.1.3 Generator Set Size Limitations, with: The entire diesel generator set including all accessories mounted on a common skid shall fit into the existing dimensional envelope. A reasonable maintenance envelope shall be provided in accordance with industry standards. Diesel generator sets that exceed any of the dimensions below may not be feasible for installation on the cutter: 3. Attachment C-1, Technical Specification: Replace paragraph 1.2.6 Resilient Mounting, with: Generator Set and/or alternator shall be resiliently mounted to the skid (or the skid shall be resiliently mounted to the foundation). Resilient mounting such as steel spring type resilient vibration and noise isolation mounts are desired. 4. Attachment C-4, Section C-4 CDRL: page 32, Block 7-SUBMITTAL SCHEDULE: Replace with: Within 10 weeks after delivery of A-Class Work Package A-CLASS ELC-006 5. The following references attached are associated with questions from the attached Questions and Answers from the site visit on Oct 17, 2019 in Norfolk, VA. (a) Attachment D-084-0481 associated with Question #8. (b) Attachment D-086-0508 associated with Question #8. (c) Attachment 2700-259-A associated with Question #17. (d) Attachment 2700-259-E associated with Question #17. 6. Attachment J-2 Pricing Sheet: (a) The instructions are revised as follows: The Offeror shall submit proposed pricing by filling out all of highlighted cells in the Pricing Worksheet. The Offeror shall provide in the lists for (1) On Board Repair Parts A Class, (2) On Board Repair Parts B Class, and (3) System Stock Parts the following information: Item Number, OEM Name, Make and Model, Part Number and Unit Price, Quantity per each, and Extended Price (unit price multiplied by Quantity).Prices are to be reflected on the applicable tabs. The Offeror totals will automatically populate into the appropriate highlighted green cell in the total price tab. The Contractor shall list all material that meets the definition of each tab as outlined by SOW Section 10.5. The Offeror shall complete tabs for (4) Technical Support and (5) On Board Training to include fully burdened Firm-Fixed Price rates on the applicable tables. The Offeror totals will automatically populate into the appropriate highlighted green cell in the total price tab. The offeror shall complete tab (6) Initial Delivery Order. This tab will not populate over. For all other CLINS not identified above, fill in the unit price on the total price tab. The Offeror shall not modify the pricing worksheet other than to insert pricing in cells highlighted for data entry; formulas on the pricing worksheet are locked. Enter pricing data to the cent (two decimal places). The pricing worksheet shall be used to calculate a total evaluated price based on the formulas already entered into the spreadsheet. Estimated quantities of supplies and services per ordering year have been inserted in the spreadsheet tabs as appropriate to allow for the calculation of the total evaluated price. Estimated quantities shall not be altered. NOTE: See the estimated production schedule on the total price tab Tabs (1-6) are now listed and identified with the instructions. b. The Offeror totals that populate over to the Total Price worksheet will be highlighted in Green. As identified by Amendment 000007 instructions, all other CLINS not identified, fill in the unit price on the total price tab. c. The proper entry for cell for CLIN1013AB, cell G108, in Ordering Year 2 is corrected. d. The TOTAL PRICE worksheet formula for CLIN5004AC, cell G245, in Ordering Year 6 is corrected. e. The value of $20,000 is correct in years 1-5 as listed on the pricing worksheet. f. The TOTAL PRICE worksheet entry for CLIN7009AB, cell G331 is corrected. g. The instructions in Amendment 000007 is revised. Tab (6) Initial Delivery Order does not calculate over. The Offeror shall complete this tab and as identified, this will be the pricing for the initial delivery order. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
