Q--RNASeq Avian Sample Analysis

The U.S. Geological Survey intends to award a non-competitive contract to Genewiz, LLC for RNASeq analysis of avian blood samples. This requirement supports the USGS Eastern Ecological Science Center in identifying differentially expressed genes in birds exposed to environmental contaminants. The scope of work includes library preparation from total RNA supplied by the agency, sequencing, and data delivery. The government selected Genewiz, LLC to ensure data continuity and the use of consistent methodology, quality control, and analytical instrumentation for this research.

The anticipated award will be an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a three-year period of performance.
