WMSL Propulsion Control System Upgrade

The United States Coast Guard, via the SFLC Procurement Branch 2, is soliciting proposals for a non-personal services contract to upgrade propulsion control systems across the 418 Maritime Security Cutter Large (WMSL) fleet. The contractor will provide all labor, materials, services, equipment, and facilities required to align the hardware, software, firmware, and project data of various propulsion components—including Main Propulsion Diesel Engines, Main Gas Turbines, Main and Combining Reduction Gearboxes, and Controllable Pitch Propeller systems—with the configurations found on the USCGC Calhoun and USCGC Friedman. These upgrades will be performed on the USCGCs Bertholf, Waesche, Stratton, Hamilton, James, Munro, Kimball, Midgett, and Stone at locations in Alameda, California; Charleston, South Carolina; and Honolulu, Hawaii.
