Notice of Intent to issue a Sole Source Award for Research and Development of 10,000 lateral flow devices for pre-clinical and clinical studies to rapidly detect HIV

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Division of HIV Prevention issued solicitation number 75D30126R73455 regarding its intent to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Beacon Scientific INC. This requirement covers the research and development of 10,000 lateral flow devices to be used in pre-clinical and clinical studies. These devices will evaluate the performance and utility of rapidly detecting HIV antiretroviral usage in point-of-care facilities.
