FOR THE MEDIVATORS GOLD CONTRACT, ADVANTAGE PLUS INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FOR PURCHASE REQUISITION: 650-22-1-7440-0005: This is not a request for competitive proposals. This is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available and telephone requests will not be honored. The Department of Veterans Affairs VA Medical Center intends to award a purchase order, Firm Fixed Price, Base + 4 option year Sole Source contract for the Medivators Gold Contract, Advantage Plus. Medivators, INC. is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). An Authorization of Sole Source/Distributor/Dealer Letter has been provided by OEM Medivators, Inc. stating LB Medivators, Inc. is the Sole Source for the Medivators Gold Contract, Advantage Plus into the Federal Government. All Automated Endoscope Preprocessor (AER) must be serviced by an authorized Medivators factory trained service engineer utilizing original equipment manufacturer (OEM) direct replacement parts to ensure safe and predictable performance. Medivators has not authorized any third-party service provider to perform maintenance and repair on Medivators products. The authority for applying the Simplified Procedures for Commercial Items of FAR 13.5 is 41 U.S.C. 1901.
