Submarine Tactical Oceanography (TAC-O) Training

The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk is contracting for Submarine Tactical Oceanography (TAC-O) training services for the Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO). This requirement involves a specialized curriculum based on submarine tactical operations. The procurement is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services under FAR Part 12 and Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. NAVSUP intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract to Secret Squirrel, LLC on a sole-source basis. The contract includes a one-year base period and four one-year options. An amendment to the solicitation extended the response deadline and provided the full SF-1449 and Performance Work Statement. Performance will occur in the United States, and quotes must remain valid for 180 days. This firm-fixed-price contract uses Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 12. The performance period covers a one-year base and four one-year options, totaling five years. NAVOCEANO requires training for staff analysts who support Naval Fleet Forces in coordination and planning.
