Naval Introductory Flight Evaluation (NIFE) Solicitation Amendment 0002 - Revised PWS and Updated Section L and M language

The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWC TSD) requires contractor services to support the Naval Introductory Flight Evaluation (NIFE) program for the Chief of Naval Education and Training. This program provides flight instruction and screening for Student Naval Aviator, Student Air Vehicle Pilot, and Student Naval Flight Officer candidates according to the NASCINST 1542.1 Master Curriculum. Under solicitation N6134024R0024, the contractor must provide certified flight instructors and a fleet of identically configured Cessna-172N/P aircraft equipped with Lycoming 180HP engines. The scope includes maintaining spare aircraft to ensure availability for successive waves at all home airfields, as well as providing flight simulators, training aids, supervision, materials, maintenance, and publications. These resources support flight screening and military instructor training as defined in the Performance Work Statement.
