High Temperature Controlled Atmosphere Furnace Suite

The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) Weapons and Energetics Department at China Lake is conducting market research to identify sources for a high temperature, controlled atmosphere furnace suite. This equipment will support current and future capabilities for metal and ceramic-based composite materials research, development, testing, processing, and production. The furnaces are intended to heat treat metal and ceramic composite test articles as well as small- to mid-scale proof of concept parts as part of the Composites Lab laboratory workflow.
