The Bay Pines VA Medical Center is conducting market research to determine the availability of qualified and technically capable companies that can perform all labor and provide all required equipment to repair or remove and replace pipe, AC system, and ductwork insulation. The location of performance is the Lee County VA Healthcare Center, 2489 Diplomat Parkway East, Cape Coral, FL 33909. The Period of Performance (POP) will be for a base year and 4 option years. RESPONSE: Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should be able to demonstrate the vendor s qualification, ability, capability, and responsibility to provide the services listed above. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources, SDVOSB, VOSB, small, and other than small businesses to perform the potential requirement described above. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. No funds have been authorized, appropriated, or received for this effort. Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this notice. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach.
