Vertical Transportation Equipment Maintenance & Repair

Provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supplies, transportation, supervision, quality control, facilities, and incidental engineering, and other items necessary to perform Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (SRM) services for Vertical Transport Equipment (VTE) at the Naval Support Activity (NSA Crane), Crane, Indiana, via a combination, firm fixed price and indefinite quantity type contract. The solicitation will be evaluated on the offeror's technical & price proposals. The solicitation contains provisions for a 12-month base period, plus four 12-month option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. The term of the contract shall not exceed 60 months.The solicitation is for all work associated with Vertical Transport Equipment (VTE) maintenance and repairs and incidental related work. The Contractor shall perform maintenance, repair, alteration, demolition and minor construction for the following: Building Systems-Vertical Transportation Equipment (VTE), Elevators, Vertical Wheel Chair Lifts, Material Lifts and Dumbwaiters. Contractor shall be licensed by the State of Indiana. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the lowest price/technical acceptable (LPTA) to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors will be used to evaluate the offers: past performance, management ability, safety, and other factors as may be specified in the solicitation documents. These technical factors when combined are equal in value to the price.
