Q--EYE EXAMS AND PRESCRIPTION SAFETY GLASSES

The McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, under the US Secret Service, is soliciting proposals for comprehensive eye and visual examinations along with prescription safety glasses under solicitation number W44W9M10T0110. This requirement is classified under NAICS code 621320: Offices of Optometrists and PSC code Q. The government intends to award a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for a performance period beginning March 1, 2010, and ending September 30, 2011. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns under the SBA: SBA designation.

The resulting BPA will utilize firm-fixed pricing, and the government will only be obligated to the extent of authorized calls actually placed, with no guaranteed minimum for exams or glasses. While yearly estimates are provided for quoting and evaluation purposes, awarded quantities will be issued as individual call orders that establish specific delivery schedules with FOB destination terms. The successful offeror is required to invoice all charges through Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF).
