West Coast FAA COI

The Naval Special Warfare Command intends to issue a single-award, five-year, firm-fixed-price contract for Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved courses of instruction in San Diego, California. Under solicitation H9224022T0018, the contractor will provide training and administration for the FAA Private Pilot-Airplane Knowledge Test or the FAA Remote Pilot Knowledge Test. These courses are designed to prepare students to obtain an FAA Certificate of Authorization for military unmanned aircraft operations. The initial task order is anticipated to begin performance on September 23, 2022.

This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside under the SBA (SBA) 8(a) program. The acquisition is classified under NAICS 611512 for Flight Training and PSC U099 for Education/Training- Other. The government is conducting this procurement in accordance with FAR Part 12 for the acquisition of commercial services and FAR Part 13 for simplified acquisition procedures.
