F -- Perform All-Taxa Surveys for the Cherokee National Forest

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, supervision, supplies and other incidentals necessary to provide biological survey activity on National Forest Land, Cherokee National Forest. The contractor shall conduct field surveys for Threatened, Endangered and Sensitive (TES) vascular plants, bryophytes, lichens, terrestrial mollusks, amphibians, bats, and rare habitats within designated project areas, species of viability concern (VC) will also be noted if encountered during the surveys. The contract resulting from the solicitation will be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Requirements contract wherein all identified quantities of units of work are ESTIMATED and are not guaranteed to be available. As an IDIQ Requirements contract there is a GUARANTEE that over the course of the contract term (12 months), unit priced work totaling $50,000.00 will be offered to the contractor via the Delivery / Task Order process. This figure may and is anticipated to be exceeded. This however should not be taken nor expected to be a guarantee. Performance period will be for 1 year from the date of award. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: between $25,000 and $100,000. PROJECT LOCATION: Various locations within the Cherokee National Forest SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: The solicitation, AG-4756-S-08-0004, and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps as a Request for Quote and will be available for downloading on or about January 24, 2008 at the website address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. A Pre-Bid conference date will be included in the solicitation. All vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database(CCR) prior to award of a Federal contract. Registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov/. A handbook and other information is available at the site including how to obtain a DUNS number, which is required to begin the registration process. Vendors are also required to be registered with the On-line Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).
