The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), specifically the FBI-JEH office, has issued a special notice under solicitation number SHOP-PR-26-001555 for the procurement of specialized testing equipment. The agency intends to negotiate a one-time, sole source, fixed-price contract with TPS LLC to provide a 40 cubic foot Tenney Environmental Test Chamber and a TPS Model WIT 112 Chamber. The procurement is designated as an SBA (SBA) set-aside. The FBI identified TPS LLC as the only source capable of meeting this requirement because the Ballistic Research Facility has utilized identical equipment from this manufacturer for decades.
