Maintenance Dredging, Delaware River, Philadelphia to Sea and Wilmington Harbor FY26 Project

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, is soliciting bids for the maintenance dredging of the Delaware River and Wilmington Harbor under solicitation number W912BU26BA006. This project is classified under NAICS 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction and PSC Z1KF MAINTENANCE OF DREDGING FACILITIES. The scope involves removing approximately 2.5 million cubic yards of sediment from the Delaware River main navigation channel between Stations 0+000 and 515+000, as well as 350,000 cubic yards from the Christina River within Wilmington Harbor.

Dredging operations south of Station 190+000 are limited to hydraulic cutterhead methods, while areas north of that station may utilize either mechanical or hydraulic cutterhead dredging. All dredged material must be placed in the Pedricktown, Delaware City, or Killcohook disposal areas. Contractors are required to perform contour dredging to specified depths with a one-to-two-foot allowable overdepth, and the government will conduct pre- and post-dredging surveys for measurement. The established period of performance for this project is 240 calendar days.
