Y--Sources Sought YOSE Water & Sewer piping

The National Park Service has issued this special notice to identify sources for the Hodgdon Meadow Water Distribution System and the extension of the Hodgdon Meadow Campground Sewer. Located within Yosemite National Park, California, in the vicinity of the Big Oak Flat Entrance Station and Hodgdon Meadow Campground, the project entails replacing the existing water source, supply, and distribution infrastructure. The scope of work includes the construction of 1,200 linear feet of raw water line, 7,900 linear feet of water supply line, and 8,100 linear feet of distribution system, along with the installation of a new water source well, pump, and a water treatment and control building. Additional requirements involve the demolition of a 100,000-gallon steel storage tank to be replaced by a new 210,000-gallon tank and access road, as well as the construction of 3,200 linear feet of electrical distribution and 3,800 linear feet of communications service.

The project also involves connecting the Big Oak Flat sanitary sewer to the Hodgdon Meadow Campground wastewater system. This component requires the construction of approximately 3,500 linear feet of 6-inch sanitary sewer line, 20 sanitary sewer manholes, and three service laterals. Existing asbestos cement water mains encountered during the project will be abandoned in place. This requirement is classified under NAICS 237110 for Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction and PSC Y1ND for Construction of Sewage and Waste Facilities.

Responses to this notice are due by June 1, 2026. This administrative action, identified by solicitation number 140P2026R0083, is managed by Mark Barber.
