View moreIn order to comply with RFO 12.102(a), the reason for lack of competition is as follows: A competitive solicitation, FA8601-26-Q-0046, was conducted that yielded only one technically acceptable offeror. On 07 May 2026, the solicitation was originally posted on SAM.gov with responses initially due on 22 May 2026. The response date was extended to 27 May 2026. A total of seven (7) quotes were received. On 01 June 2026, five of the quotes were submitted for technical evaluation, and on 02 June 2026, the Government was notified that only Vendor B (Elements IV Interiors) had passed. On 03 June 2026, the two remaining proposals were evaluated and neither passed. This makes the effort a sole source contract action. Price is considered fair and reasonable based upon lowest price technically acceptable.
The Department of Defense (DoD) has determined the System for Award Management (SAM) to be the single DoD registration for contractors who conduct business or who are interested in conducting business with the DoD. Contractors must be registered in SAM prior to award for contracts issued after 29 May 2012. You may contact SAM at 866-606-8220. SAM website: www.SAM.gov.

The Department of the Air Force, AFLCMC/PZIBA, intends to award a sole source contract to Elements IV Interiors for a comprehensive furniture package at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. This project, identified as Project 2026SH026, aims to replace outdated furniture in Facility 20016 that no longer supports current mission functions. The requirement includes the acquisition and installation of conference tables, buffet credenzas, seating, break room furniture, glass boards, and flooring.
This procurement is classified under NAICS 337214 Office Furniture (except Wood) Manufacturing and PSC 7110 Office Furniture. The decision to pursue a sole source award follows a competitive solicitation that resulted in only one technically acceptable offeror. Although seven quotes were initially received, a technical evaluation concluded that only Elements IV Interiors met the government's requirements. The Air Force has determined the price to be fair and reasonable based on the lowest price technically acceptable framework.
The response deadline for this special notice is June 12, 2026. While the government intends to negotiate exclusively with the identified source, other responsible parties may submit capability statements or proposals by the deadline to be considered for future competitive procurements. Documentation for this notice includes a redacted sole source justification and a Statement of Work updated as of May 13, 2026. All correspondence regarding this action is managed by Dametria Walder.
