The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Herlong, CA intends to issue a solicitation for the requirement of: Smoke Detection Device Upgrade and installation. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238210; the small business size standard is 500 employees. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right to make formal single or multiple awards. Delivery is required by September 30, 2026. Late deliveries will result in a negative performance evaluation.

The solicitation will be available on or after May 28, 2026, with a due date of July 15, 2026 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the SAM beta.gov web site https://beta.sam.gov/ Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available.
