Warehouse Repairs, RAF Alconbury

The Department of the Air Force, through the 501st Combat Support Wing Regional Contracting Office, is seeking design-build services to modernize Building 562 at RAF Alconbury. This project involves upgrading the warehouse's exterior envelope, structural access, and interior environmental controls. The work will be executed under a Firm Fixed Price contract and includes five main objectives: ensuring roof and drainage integrity, improving exterior durability, optimizing natural light and ventilation, enhancing life safety, and following sustainable design principles. The contractor will serve as both the Principal Designer and Construction Contractor, providing all labor, tools, and design services. The performance period is 365 calendar days from the notice to proceed. Proposals must include technical, past performance, and price volumes. The project requires compliance with both United Kingdom and United States standards, including UK Construction Design and Management (CDM) 2015 and US Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC). A site visit is scheduled for June 11, 2026. This is a Firm Fixed Price contract for the repair and modernization of Building 562 at RAF Alconbury, with a 365-day performance period. The contractor is responsible for all management, design services, labor, equipment, and permits required to meet the objectives in the SOO.
