Original Description

Title: Multiple federal supply class (FSC) 4010 national stock numbers (NSN) and one (FSC) 1640 national stock number supporting various weapon systems for competitive long-term contract (LTC) with total small business set-aside (SBSA) The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation proposes to issue a solicitation for a long-term strategic contract which will include multiple NSNs to support numerous weapon systems / operational platforms. A total of 13 NSNs are targeted for this contract effort. It is anticipated that all items will be priced for the initial contract award. The proposed contract will be for a total five year period of performance to include a three-year base period and two one year option periods. This is proposed to be a Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 15 effort. The proposed contract will be a fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract. The attached list are the items that have been identified for this action. This will be a competitively awarded contract and best value selection methods will be used. The Government may award multiple contracts for this action. The solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) webpage on or around June 1, 2016. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP on the same issue date cited in the solicitation.
