The procurement supports the NOAA Ship Pisces, located in Pascagoula, MS, and involves upgrading proprietary control circuit cards that are no longer supported. As the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), IMS, Inc. is the sole authorized provider in the United States for the service, technical assistance, and spare parts required to maintain the system’s American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) type approval and original design requirements.
