The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Strategic Material Sourcing Group is conducting market research under solicitation number SPE30026Q0001 for the acquisition of bag-in-box beverage bases. This requirement includes carbonated, non-carbonated, electrolyte, and juice drinks, along with necessary dispensing equipment, 20-pound carbon dioxide tanks, and maintenance services for the equipment. This notice replaces a previously canceled administrative entry, and the agency is seeking indefinite quantities of these products for delivery within the United States. The anticipated contract period is 12 months or until the total value reaches $9,000,000.00, whichever occurs first.
The selected contractor must establish a central email point of contact to coordinate orders and deliveries through various bottlers. Performance requires formal agreements with both company-owned and independently owned bottlers to ensure comprehensive customer support, with independent bottlers classified as subcontractors. The government specifies categories of items rather than brand-specific products, allowing offerors to propose their own commercial flavors. This market research is classified under NAICS 312111 for Soft Drink Manufacturing, and there is no set-aside designated for this procurement.
