The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) intends to issue an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract to provide planning and consultant services related to: strategic capital planning, reviews, evaluations, analysis, certifications and documentation related to environmental and biological assessments, compliance with State Historic Preservation Requirements, compliance with life safety & seismic regulations, Hazardous Materials abatement (mold, lead paint, asbestos, etc.) and pre-award services firm-fixed-price, sole source contract for Facility Capital Services for the Medical Center to Romanyk Consulting Corp., 3308 Preston Road, Suite 350-164, Plano, TX, 75093, This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source award to Romanyk Consulting Corp., a VIP Verified SDVOSB, under FAR 6.302-5, Authorized or Required by Statute , Veterans First Contracting Program, as authorized by 38 U.S.C. 8127 and 8128 (Pub. L. 109-461, as amended), implemented under subpart 819.70, is in the best interest of the Government. The NAICS Code that applies to this procurement is 541611; the small business size standard is $15M. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes, competitive proposals, solicitations, or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 1:00 PM EST on January 11, 2018.
