The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Louisville District intends to issue a Invitation for Bid (IFB) W912QR20B0008 for the following: The project work consists of furnishing, deliver, and operating one cutterhead hydraulic pipeline dredge and associated attendant plant. the dredge will be required to move an estimated ***162,000,000*** cubic feet of material during the contract period. The dredge shall perform channel maintenance dredging Ohio River [River Mile (RM) 150.0-981.0] and Ohio River pool areas of tributaries, Cumberland River (RM 0.0-105) and Upper Mississippi River (RM0.0-185.0). The dredge will be used primarily to make or enlarge dredge cuts in various constricted channels, lock approaches, and harbors twenty-four hours per day seven days per week. The contract duration will be for one base year and four one year option periods. The Government anticipates releasing the solicitation on or about 13 February 2020.
