Page 1 of 1 The Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 6, Hampton VA 23667, intends to negotiate a sole source Firm-Fixed Price IDIQ Contract for PHMB Antimicrobial Wound Matrix (PurPly AM Wound Matrix) products for the Richmond VAMC with ERA Health LLC dba Veteran s Health in accordance with VAAR 819.7007 Sole Source Awards to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business Concerns. This is not a request for competitive offers and no solicitation is available. To minimize the current gap in service, based off recent procurement history revealed that historically ERA Health has successfully provided the required products without an unacceptable delay or duplication of cost and no other type of services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government intends to award the contract with an effective date of January 17, 2018 to ERA Health, LLC, dba Veteran s Health, 4428 Overton Crest Street, Fort Worth, TX 76109-2521, DUNS# 788518806. The Richmond VAMC Materiel Management currently has an immediate need for PHMB Antimicrobial Wound Matrix (PurPly AM Wound Matrix) products as their stock of this product is nearly depleted. This Contract vehicle will provide a short-term contract for delivery of PHMB Antimicrobial Wound Matrix (PurPly AM Wound Matrix) products. PurPly is currently used at the Richmond VAMC to treat biofilms (superficial clinically colonized wound) on ulcers of the body. This synopsis announcement is being issued for information purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or request for competitive proposals. If a firm believes it is capable of meeting the Government's requirement, it may identify their interest and capability to the Contracting Specialist by no later than 16 Jan 2018 by contacting Gina Kern via e-mail at [email protected].
