NSN: 6140-01-417-3244 STORAGE BATTERY Destination Information: Various DLA Stocking Locations (See attachment for NSN material data, packaging and delivery.) Based upon market research, this solicitation is issued in accordance with FAR 13.5 - Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data. Specs, plans or drawings are not available. Therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c ) (1). The approved source for this item is Enersys Energy Products (0WY95). FOB will be at Destination, and Inspection/Acceptance at Destination. The proposed procurement contains three base years and two separately priced option years. The total duration shall not exceed 5 years. This will be solicited as an unrestricted acquisition utilizing other than full and open competition. The solicitation will be available at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp/default.aspx on or about its estimated issue date of July 27th, 2018. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors, as described in the solicitation.
