United States Capitol Police (USCP) Industry Day Event

The United States Capitol Police Office of Acquisition Management is hosting an Industry Day on June 10, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at the Library of Congress in Washington, DC. This special notice, published on May 15, 2026, invites all interested vendors, including new and non-traditional contractors, to learn about the agency’s mission and acquisition methods. The event provides information on pending procurements and explains the procurement practices and policies specific to a Legislative Branch law enforcement agency. One attachment, a registration document, was included with the notice at the time of publication.

The agency operates within a sensitive law enforcement environment that requires contractors to maintain professionalism, discretion, and compliance with security requirements. The Office of Acquisition Management supports various bureaus and offices that contract for a wide range of goods and services, including administrative support, facility management, vehicle and fleet maintenance, information technology, and information security. Procurement needs also extend to law enforcement training, intelligence services, emergency management, and health and wellness services.

To fulfill these requirements, the agency utilizes various contracting methods such as Requests for Proposals, Requests for Quotations, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contracts, Blanket Purchase Agreements, and Purchase Orders. The agency also collaborates with other legislative branch entities to leverage existing contract vehicles as appropriate.
