ALD Specifications - TB edit 692026.pdf | Jun 9, 2026 |
Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) Reactor System
The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) is conducting market research to identify sources for an Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) Reactor System. This research supports procurement planning for the NRL facility in Washington, DC, and helps determine the commerciality of available systems. The government is in the planning stages and may modify technical requirements before a formal solicitation. Submissions require a capability statement addressing technical specifications, commerciality, and product descriptions. Responses also include a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) for estimated project costs. Technical requirements are detailed in the attached specification document, covering hardware, software, and performance standards. The scope includes a complete ALD Reactor system with a vacuum chamber, gas delivery, plasma sources, and load lock components. The NRL requires an ALD reactor system for thin film growth on various substrates, including wafers 150 mm or larger.
