Section II. Description
The solicitation number for this procurement is FA483026Q0024 and it is issued as an RFQ. The 23D Contracting Squadron is soliciting for: Fire Suppression.
This acquisition is for a competitive set aside 100% for Small Business concerns. All quotations will be evaluated according to the evaluation criteria stated in the solicitation and award will be made to the lowest priced technically acceptable (LPTA) offeror.
The Government intends to evaluate quotes and award a contract without negotiations with Offerors. Therefore, the Offeror’s initial quote should contain the Offeror’s best terms. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct negotiations, if necessary.
All References to "offer" or "offeror" in the clauses and provisions incorporated below are deemed to have the meaning of "quotation" and "quoter" respectively. Any quotation received in response to this RFQ is not binding until the contractor either signs the purchase order issued at the time of award or starts performance. Section III. Requirement Information
1. Description: Complete repairs outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) necessary for Vent Hood Services. The requirement is to provide services non-personal consisting of furnishing all labor, equipment, parts, materials, and other related system components necessary to perform Semi-Annual Operational Test, Annual Inspection and Conduct Hydrostatic Test On Pressure Cylinders on Fire Suppression Systems located on Moody AFB and Grassy Pond Annex. The Contractor shall provide all maintenance required to keep the system operational in accordance with (IAW) National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standard 17, Dry Chemical Extinguishing Systems, or NFPA Standard 17A, Wet Chemical Extinguishing Systems. The required level of effort for this contract includes a semi-annual operational test, an annual inspection on the seventeen (16) chemical extinguishing systems in eleven (11) facilities. This means the annual level of effort in terms of labor hours would be factored at approximately 64 or 1 part time equivalent with no anticipated increase or decrease in the number of locations needing service.
All work shall be in strict compliance with the specification of the contract and PWS, Attachment 1.
2. Period of Performance: The resulting contract from this solicitation will contain twelve (12) months of base period beginning 1 October 2026, and four (4), one year option periods. Please see breakdown listed below:

4. Site Visit
Site visit will be made available upon request. The interested vendors will meet at the 23d Contracting Squadron, 4380 Alabama Road, Moody AFB, GA 31699 (Attachment 6- Base Map). Parties will then proceed to the Maintenance Squadron. If you wish to attend, fill out Attachment 7 - Base Pass Request and email it to the contracting POCs. A government issued REAL ID is required for entrance into the installation. Questions and Answers: Should you have any questions about this requirement, please submit them no later than 2:00 PM EST 15 June 2026, all questions must be emailed to the POCs via a word document or PDF. Answers to all questions will be posted to SAM.gov through an amendment to the solicitation on 17 June 2026. Interested vendors are responsible for monitoring the solicitation for amendments and updates.
