Forestry Mulching Attachment for Skid Steer

The U.S. Department of the Army, through the St. Paul District of the Corps of Engineers, has issued an award notice for the procurement of a newly manufactured forestry drum mulcher and its delivery to Blackhawk Park in De Soto, Wisconsin. Under solicitation W912ES25QA066, the contractor is responsible for providing a mulcher designed for use with a 2016 Case TR 310 skid steer. The equipment must feature steel teeth, a push bar-tree bumper, and a cutting width between 50 and 60 inches. It must be capable of removing hardwood and softwood trees up to five inches in diameter while operating effectively at 74 horsepower and a maximum of 35 gallons per minute.

The contract includes the provision of all necessary electrical components and hydraulic fittings, including quick couplers, required for proper operation with the designated skid steer. This requirement was classified under NAICS 333120 for Construction Machinery Manufacturing and PSC 3830 for Truck and Tractor Attachments.
