Procurement of Electrical Distribution Equipment and Life Cycle Support

The due date for proposals is not extended. ***************************************************** Amendment 0001 extends the due date for comments and questions from industry from 12/21/2017 to 01/10/2018. The due date for proposals is not extended. ***************************************************** This RFO is for the FAA's anticipated acquisition of interior Electrical Distribution Equipment (EDE) and life cycle in-service support. EDE to be acquired include equipment such as Parallel Switchgear, Switchgear, Switchboards, Motor Control Centers, Transformers, Panel boards, and Electrical Power Monitoring and Control Systems. In addition to the EDE, the FAA requires related technical support services, logistics support, training and quality control. Interested contractors must have extensive experience in designing, assembling, testing, and installing power distribution systems in facilities of similar complexity and criticality as those found across the National Airspace System. Contractors must possess in-house access to core technical information and be able to troubleshoot, fault isolate and perform failure analysis of its equipment and provide maintenance and repair training for FAA technicians.
