Original Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons (Bureau), National Acquisition Section, Washington, D.C., intends to make a single award, indefinite delivery, requirements type contract with firm fixed unit prices for Healthcare Accreditation Services at various Bureau locations located throughout the contiguous United States, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. However, the Bureau reserves the right to make multiple awards, no more than two awards, if it is determined to be in the best interest of the Government. This solicitation is issued as full and open competition. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. The solicitation is being issued as Request for Proposal (RFP) RFPP070016NAS0919. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-88(a). The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 813920 which have a size standard of $15 million. The contract period of performance will consist of one (1) year base period and four (4) one year option periods for renewal at the discretion of the Government in accordance with FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. All services associated with this requirement shall be provided by a nationally recognized Healthcare Accreditation Organization.
