This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located at http://www.navsea.navy.mil/nswc/crane/working/contracting/default.aspx. NAVSURFWARCEN Crane Division has a requirement for the procurement the following: 1. CLIN 0001(USN)/CLIN 0003(FMS): Production of SDR TWTs in accordance with a Statement of Work, NSWC Crane drawing number 6625287, Rev M and Specification WS-21223, Rev F. Minimum requirement is 0 each for US Navy and 0 each for FMS. Maximum quantity is 95 each for US Navy and 51 each for FMS. 2. CLIN 0002(USN)/CLIN 0004(FMS): Repair/Rebuild of SDR TWTs. Minimum of 0 each for both US Navy and FMS. Maximum quantity is 141 each for US Navy and 50 each for FMS. 3. CLIN 0005 (MDA): Production of SDR TWTs in accordance with a Statement of Work, NSWC Crane drawing number 6625287, Rev M and Specification WS-21223, Rev F. Minimum requirement is 9 each for MDA. Maximum quantity is 18 each for MDA. The Government anticipates award of a non-commercial, firm fixed price, 5 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with delivery no earlier than 270 days after contract award. As the SDR TWTs are determined to be non-commercial items FAR Part 12 will not be utilized for this procurement. Anticipated delivery will be FOB Destination, NSWC Crane Division, Crane, IN 47522. Inspection and acceptance is anticipated to be at origin. Solicitation N00164-11-R-GR53 will be issued on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Communications and Power Industries Inc, Traveling Wave Technology Division, 811 Hansen Way, Palo Alto, CA. Interested persons may submit a capability statement or proposal which shall be considered by the Agency. However, all capability statements/proposals received within forty five days after publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The drawings and specifications are limited distribution (Distribution D) and will not be made available unless approval is granted.
