Support Onsite for Information Technology Services (SOFITS) CLIN 0200 Information Systems Security (ISS) Support

The objective of the Support Onsite for Information Technology Services (SOFITS) Contract, Contract No. DTRT5715D30018, is to provide direct Information Systems Security (ISS) and Privacy support to the programmatic requirements of all IT elements at the Volpe National Transportation Systems Center (Volpe Center). Solicitation No. DTRT5715R20003, entitled "SOFITS," was issued as a competitive solicitation for Information Technology (IT) and Information Systems Security (ISS) support. This solicitation contained two functional areas: (1) IT support and (2) ISS and Privacy support. The Volpe Center awarded two master contract awards as a result of this solicitation. The IT support functional area, Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0100, was issued using Full and Open (F&O) competitive procedures and resulted in a single contract award; see Award Notification for Volpe Center Contract No. DTRT5715D30017 with further information. The ISS and Privacy support functional area, CLIN 0200, was issued as a Small Business Set-Aside (SBSA) among eligible small businesses, and resulted in a single contract award. Contract No. DTRT5715D30018, SOFITS ISS Support, shall provide ISS and Privacy support in response to technical project requirements presented by the Volpe Center. The ISS and Privacyservices shall include support in the following areas: System Security Administration; System Security Analysis and Evaluation; System Security and Privacy Plans; System Security Documentation; and Cyber-security Assessment and Assurance.
