This announcement constitutes the only solicitation? proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. The purpose of this acquisition is to procure elevator maintenance and related services for the following location: Milwaukee Federal Building and US Courthouse, 517 E. Wisconsin Ave., Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53202 The solicitation is posted as of September 16, 2016 with a closing date of October 18, 2016 at 2:00PM local time (Central time zone). The anticipated award date is November 8, 2016. The solicitation is available for download through the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) (fedbizopps.gov) website. All interested vendors must be registered with this website in order to download the solicitation and amendments. Offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and for monitoring FBO for amendments and/or additional information. Offers are due by October 18, 2016 at 2:00PM Central Time. Robert St., Suite 306 St. Paul, MN 55101 Attn: Kaye Wierzbicki Contract Specialist * * * * * * * * * * DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Contractor shall provide full elevator maintenance service, in compliance with the ASME Safety Code requirements, manufacturer's recommendations, Elevator Industry Field Employees' Safety Handbook, National Electrical Code, and all other applicable laws, regulations, rules, ordinances, codes, etc. Full maintenance service is defined as all services, repairs, inspections and testing necessary to maintain all elevators, appurtenances, and accessories in a fully operational mode at all times except for prescheduled downtime including all labor, parts and materials. Please refer to the RFP for further details about work and performance requirements. The performance period for this requirement is a oneyear base period with four oneyear options. The estimated start date is December 1, 2016. * * * * * * * * * * This procurement is unrestricted and open to all business concerns. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered by the agency. The NAICS code is 238290 with a size standard of $15 million dollars. This is a negotiated best value procurement. Proposals will be evaluated on price and nonprice factors.
