Aerial Seeding Kaibab National Forest

The USDA Forest Service requires aerial seeding services for emergency post-fire recovery in the White Sage Fire area of the North Kaibab Ranger District. Issued as a 100% small business set-aside under solicitation 127EAU26Q0058, the project involves applying a native seed mix across approximately 700 acres near Jacob Lake, Arizona. The work aims to limit invasive species and support vegetation recovery in sensitive habitats, including areas for the Kaibab plains cactus. The contractor will provide aircraft, certified weed-free seed, equipment, and personnel to complete the project within a 30-day performance period. Scope includes seed processing, staging area establishment and rehabilitation, traffic control, and safety management. All operations must meet the Statement of Work standards and comply with federal, state, and local aviation and environmental regulations. Proposals are due June 9, 2026, following the extension in Amendment 1. Evaluation will follow a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) process. Procure certified weed-free seed and manage aerial application to support post-fire recovery. Establish and rehabilitate staging areas and implement traffic control during operations.
