U--Civilians in the Battlefield

The contract shall provide Civilians in the Battlefield Training Enhancement Support, which includes: Role Players, Makeup Artists, Set Builders and Program Management; Training aids include: Vehicles, Store front facings, watercraft, blank firing weapons and other battlefield effects required to provide training environments that simulate real-world conditions. The place of performance will be: various CONUS sites - the contractor shall perform this work primarily at government sites identified at the task order level. It is estimated that approximately 90% Government site (on-site) and 10% Contractors site (off-site). The requirement was issued as a competitive (8)a set-aside and solicited through the Government-wide Points of Entry, Navy Electronic Commerce On-line (NECO), and Federal Business Opportunities (FEDBIZOPS) websites. Seven offers were received. The successful offerors are: Mid Atlantic Professionals, Inc DBA/SSI 120400 Observation Dr., Suite 102, Germantown, MD 20876-4086; GeoNorth, LLC. 561 East 36th Avenue, Anchorage, AK 99503; and Language on Demand 4207 Fox Lake Drive, Fairfax, VA, 22033. The contract type is an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity with firm fixed price (FFP) pricing provisions. The base period is 15 March 2013 to 14March 2014. The contract award encompasses a base year and two one-year option periods (if exercised). The base year amount for Mid-Atlantic is $8,155,398.47 and the contract ceiling amount, if all options are exercised, will be $23,134,189.93; The base year amount for GeoNorth is $8,673,147.80 and the contract ceiling amount, if all options are exercised, will be $24,778,331.76; and the base year amount for Language on Demand is $8,949,926.89 and the contract ceiling amount, if all options are exercised, will be $25,532,134.61.
