SIOP Trucking Services PSNS & IMF
The Department of the Navy is seeking short-haul flatbed trucking services for the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS&IMF) to support the Shipyard Infrastructure Optimization Program (SIOP). The project involves moving 4 to 5 million pounds of government-owned equipment and materials, covering 60,000 to 100,000 square feet of inventory. Transport will occur between Naval Base Kitsap (NBK) sites and government-leased facilities, all within a 35-mile radius. This is a 100% Small Business set-aside for a single Firm-Fixed Price contract. The performance period runs from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. While the contractor manages transport and load security, government personnel will handle all loading and unloading using government equipment. Hazardous materials (HAZMAT) are excluded from this scope. Technical requirements include specific vehicle restrictions, such as a ban on box trucks, and mandatory security protocols for the Controlled Industrial Area (CIA). Quotes are due by June 16, 2026, and must detail fleet specifications, scheduling lead times, and drop-trailer availability. All transport routes are short-haul, staying within 35 miles of the origin. Provide management, labor, and equipment for a firm-fixed-price, non-personal services contract.
