13--REQUEST FOR INFORMATION to determine the status of the market for M72A7 LAW system suite.

The Marine Corps System Command is conducting market research through this Sources Sought notice to determine industry capability regarding the M72A7 Lightweight Anti-Armor Weapon (LAW) system suite. This inquiry follows the previous award of a sole-source Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract, M67854-09-D-1062, to Talley Defense Systems, Inc. The government is seeking to assess the current market status and identify whether other sources can provide these weapon systems under NAICS code 332993 Ammunition (except Small Arms) Manufacturing and PSC code 13.

The scope of the M72 LAW system suite includes M72A7 LAW rockets with graze functionality, M72AS LAW training rockets, and M72AS LAW inert training rockets. Additionally, the requirement covers M72AS trainer launchers, M72A7 LAW launcher conversions to M72AS configurations, trainer launcher boxes, and cleaning kits. This request for information, identified by solicitation number M6785409R1062, is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a request for competitive proposals.
