When proposing in response to a solicitation, failure to propose the specified quality requirement per item as identified above may render an offeror’s proposal technically unacceptable. This will consist of DoD/Troop customers in the States of Ohio and Virginia (OH and VA). After soliciting, the Agency intends to make one award. Offerors are required to propose on all items in the Schedule of Items for Group 1. Failure to do so may result in a proposal being deemed technically unacceptable and therefore excluded from further consideration for award. Because the Contracting Officer is not obligated to initiate negotiations, when proposing to the solicitation each offeror shall submit its most competitive proposal for Group 1. Said proposal shall be responsive to all of the Solicitation’s requirements and free from any deficiencies.
Proposed contract ordering period is July 5, 2026, to July 4, 2029. If interested, we strongly encourage you to respond using the attached questionnaire. We appreciate and thank you in advance for any feedback. Your responses regarding this solicitation are requested back by the close of business on 4/22/2026. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support is conducting market research through this Request for Information to support the Subsistence Produce and Market Fresh Program. The Agency intends to identify commercial firms capable of supplying Coca-Cola brand cans and bottles to Department of Defense military customers located in the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base area of Ohio and the Fort Belvoir area of Virginia. This research will assist the government in crafting a future solicitation for an Indefinite-Quantity Contract, which is expected to result in a single award for all items listed in the required schedule.
The anticipated performance period for the resulting contract is scheduled to run from July 5, 2026, to July 4, 2029. Providers must adhere to commercial standards for maintaining appropriate product temperatures, and future proposals must include all items within the specified group to be considered technically acceptable. This requirement is classified under NAICS 312111 for Soft Drink Manufacturing and PSC 8960 for Non-Alcoholic Beverages.
Responses to this notice are due by April 22, 2026, and should be submitted via email to the primary point of contact, Katie Ann Wimsey. Documentation associated with this request includes a market research questionnaire in PDF format, a schedule of items for the Virginia and Ohio zones in Excel format, and a delivery schedule in Excel format. This inquiry is for informational purposes only and does not constitute a formal solicitation or a commitment by the government to any future business.
