Amendment 0001 United States Naval Academy Grounds Maintenance IDIQ Contract

The Department of the Navy, NAVFACSYSCOM Washington, is seeking grounds maintenance services for the United States Naval Academy (USNA) and NSA Annapolis under solicitation number N4008021R0189. This 8A set-aside procurement is classified under NAICS 561730 Landscaping Services and PSC S208 Housekeeping- Landscaping/Groundskeeping. The scope includes the upkeep of lawns, flower beds, fields, and vegetated areas, as well as the maintenance and repair of athletic fields in accordance with National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) standards. Additional requirements involve arborist consultations and the pruning of historically sensitive trees, emergency removal of fallen debris impacting facility or road access, and snow and ice removal from pedestrian walkways and building entrances.

Grounds maintenance is considered critical to the mission success of the USNA, particularly in maintaining the installation's reputation for prospective students and ensuring the safety of training facilities for Midshipmen.
