Storage Batteries

The proposed procurement is for (6 NSNs). The FSC of this requirement is 6140. The items are all code and part numbered. An Indefinite Quantity Long Term Contract with a three year base is anticipated. No option periods will be available. The total duration of the project is not to exceed 3 years. Small Business size standard is 500 employees. The solicitation will be unrestricted with other than full and open competition. This solicitation will be issued on or about December 17, 2013. The contract specialist will not be able to provide copies of the solicitation. The solicitation will be available after issue date at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp. Hard copies are not available. Increments and delivery schedule will be noted on the RFP. FOB Origin is required and Inspection / Acceptance will be Destination. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of the offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
