The Joint Project Manager Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Integrated Early Warning (JPM CBRN IEW) is conducting market research via this sources sought notice to identify independently qualified and production-capable sources for the Multi-Phase Chemical Sampling Analysis (MPCSA) system. The Government requires a man-portable, dismounted system capable of identifying and classifying known and unknown liquid, solid, vapor, and aerosol chemical hazards, as well as quantifying low-level vapor and aerosol hazards. These systems will support Department of War missions including post-attack monitoring, base defense, decontamination assurance, demasking, dismounted reconnaissance, and field confirmatory chemical analysis in forward operating locations.

The Department of the Army, specifically the Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (W6QK ACC-APG), is managing this requirement, which may result in full-rate production and worldwide tactical deployment. This request for information, issued under solicitation number RFI-26-MPCSA, aims to update technical and manufacturing readiness data from both government and industry sources.
